I am Martin Sherry, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and a graduate of Columbia University School of Social Work, New York City, New York who specializes in the treatment of individuals struggling with all types addictive behaviors. Prior to establishing my own practice I was the Clinical Director of The Midtown Center for Treatment and Research, a part of Cornell Medical College Division of Public Health. I held that position from 1999 to 2008. Prior to that I was the Assistant Vice President of Substance Abuse Services for St. Johns Riverside hospital in Yonkers NY. I began work in the field of addiction in 1987.

As a Faculty member of the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, I lecture on Relapse prevention in addition to instructing students on Ethical & Professional Behavior. I have been a guest lecturer for the Department of Community Mental Health of New York City as well as for inpatient facilities including, but not limited to, Sierra Tucson, the Meadows and Seafield Hospital.
